Welcome to Wild Abandon Kendal

We are happy to have a plastic free shop unless it has been recycled or upcycled. We are passionate about wool crafts, knitting, spinning weaving and felting.

Every item is personally sourced to ensure we only stock sustainable products that do not damage the Earth nor any of its inhabitants.
Slave trade happens closer to home than most of you realise. Be aware , keep vigilant and check the smiles on the people who serve you in the high street.

We stock a large range of alternative therapies from flower remedies made in the Lake District ,Yoga to crystal healing plus a fabulous range of alternative books.

Our products have got to be useful as well as beautiful or they’re not welcome in our shop.

I love using my artistic eye to source new wares from both local and world wide Artisans who are passionate about their work and love what they create. Each object for sale has to have a story that touches mine and the customers heart. Recycled, up cycled, sustainable, beautiful, well made, fair trade values have to be there. From stunning unusual clothing made from organic or recycled materials to housewares full of wonderful items to enhance your homes infusing them with more love. I have a range of amazing Yoga wares too (organic mats, singing bowls, incense, clothing) healing crystals, flower remedies -handmade in the Beautiful local Lake District.

I love all things woolly and natural and I hand dye and spin my own yarn which I sell. However not being able to meet the demand I also stock a stunning range of both local and South American yarns which help artisans around the world to have better standards of living. The colours will blow your mind…
